SUP dans la Wipikédia...

Si la version française ne propose pas encore de résultat ni pour SUP ni pour Stand Up Paddle en revanche en entrant "SUP" dans la version anglaise on trouve un lien vers Stand Up Paddle, :

Stand Up Paddle, SUP, is an emerging global sport with a Hawaiian heritage. The sport began as surfer demanded a more efficient way to access new areas on their surfboards by standing on longer surf boards and paddling with a 6-foot modified paddle in the 1940s and 1950s.

Today SUP, or Stand-Up-Paddle is gaining popularity as the demands for global-conscious green sports increase. Additionally the sport benefits athletes with a strong 'core' workout. SUP'ing is popular at warm coastal climates and resorts, and is gaining in popularities as celebrities are sampling the sport and cross-over athletes are training with SUP. SUPs have been spotted around the globe anywhere there is easy access to safe waters.

Most new custom SUP board prices range from $900 to $1500 new, and most consist of three-phase epoxy construction. The boards are generally longer than 10 feet and up to 12 feet in length with features such as padded decks, concave hulls, and up to three fins in the stern for stability.

C'est déjà mieux que rien !!
